It is not all clear whether iced coffee originated in Vienna or in France. Fact is that it dates back to somewhere in the 17th century and to this day remains extremely popular with recipes abound.
Iced coffee
1 cup hot espresso (or very strong coffee)
1 tbsp sugar
4 ice cubes
1 cup hot espresso (or very strong coffee)
1 tbsp sugar
4 ice cubes
Mix sugar with coffee. Pour hot coffee over the ice cubes.
Instead of ice cubes, one can also use some ice cold milk and pour the hot, sweetened coffee over the milk.
I myself am more drawn to the next version of this type of coffee.

cocoa powder or chocolate chips
1 cup coffee
