It isn’t the first beer with a coffee flavor, but whereas in other beers the flavor is due to the fact that the malt is roasted, just like coffee beans, which results in similar aromas, or the flavor results from the addition of coffee extracts, the Belgian coffee-beer is the first one to which actual coffee has been added, being Finca la Pila single estate, a high-quality coffee from Guatemala.
It has been called the perfect marriage, which can’t be far besides the truth: Brother Jacob Double Espresso, a beer that combines the two divine tastes of coffee and beer, developed by two Belgian brothers.

AuthorI wouldn't be surprised to find out I was born with a passion for coffee. For the life of me, I can't remember not loving coffee.
